Ink Black as the Abyss

Prostrate over the ruined body of love, yearning for its final mercy;

Years like flowing water wither into mud, rotting in the foul earth.

I stand in the boundless wilderness. The wind howls like a mournful dirge, and the abyss descends as ink-black darkness spreads.
