Character introductions:
1. Me, Shan Lingyan. An ordinary-looking yet extraordinary high school girl. She often sees things that ordinary people cannot, and encounters things that ordinary people never do. She also often has strange dreams, but can't tell her dreams apart from reality. Her family background is mysterious.
2. Jiang Ning. Shan Lingyan's good friend. She transferred into Shan's class in third grade. Cold and aloof by nature, she nevertheless took the initiative to talk to Shan, and they became friends. Her beauty is enough to make every boy swoon and every girl jealous. Her family background is unusual.
3. Wei Yifei. He and Shan Lingyan are practically childhood sweethearts, and he's also good friends with Jiang Ning. They've been classmates for as long as they can remember. He often enjoys teasing Shan Lingyan, only to get his comeuppance soon after. But sometimes he's especially gentle with her. When Shan misunderstands him, he even gets dead drunk.
4. Meng Qi. He transfers into Shan's class in high school. His golden hair, handsome face, and prominent family background win him the favor of many girls. But he only has eyes for Shan, acting flirtatiously toward her from the very first day at school. He then arranges one romantic date after another, gradually winning the heroine's heart.
5. Xiao Ran. The class monitor. He stammers terribly whenever he talks to girls. He doesn't play much of a role early in the story, but suddenly becomes very active later on. Could that be a sign of something?
