[Looking for advance readers for my new novel: "The Yellow Springs General Store," a cute, earnest true Taoist priest x a shrewd, capable fake immortal who's irresistibly charming]
At first, Si Rong only wanted to eat, sleep, and raise her younger brother.
But life in the apocalypse, where she was barely scraping by, suddenly became impossible to endure. Her ragtag team broke up, her teammates ran off, and even the villain started getting smarter!
As it turned out, her younger brother was abnormal, her teammates couldn't be relied on, and men simply didn't exist.
Only the zombies kept chasing her, never leaving her side, and refusing to give up even after evolving into a bug and becoming hell-bent on killing her.
So God hadn't just shut the door and locked the windows. He'd blocked up the chimney, too!
Si Rong pulls out a fifty-meter-long cleaver.gif
No matter. She just has to punch a hole through.
She can do it herself.
Reader's guide: A strong female lead. At first, the heroine is weak in a fight and survives by using her brain.
Any coincidence that seems to happen by chance might actually be a scheme.
After all, a foolish, truly selfless white lotus won't live long.
Entirely fictional. The setting serves the plot, so please go easy on the nitpicking.
The author is sensitive. Please don't post spoilers.
Here's another new novel to look forward to: "The Yellow Springs General Store"
The old man who raised Zao Jia passed away, leaving her a convenience store on the road to the underworld.
To make sure the old man has plenty to eat and drink in the afterlife, Zao Jia rolls up her sleeves and gets to work.
The long-closed shop reopens, newly renovated and dazzlingly luxurious, drawing in all kinds of wronged souls and monsters.
Car-crash ghost: Strongly recommend her beauty cream! My face was glowing white at the crash site!
Wrongfully killed ghost: Gotta give her instant-retribution water a thumbs-up. The combination of yin and yang works wonders!
Fox spirit: Awooo, her fox-odor-removal perfume is super awesome!
One day, a goofy Taoist priest barges in and starts smashing things. "I heard your store is faking its ghosts!"
"...Go to hell, you big melon! I'm Zao Jia!"
Zao Jia immediately grabs her bag and beats the little Taoist until his head is covered in lumps. She never imagined that
when the wheel of fortune turned, she'd be leaning against the wall with weak knees and a sore waist, whimpering,
while the little Taoist smiles down at her and slips an arm around her, nuzzling her. "Don't you like it?"
Zao Jia is speechless, her face turning as red as a giant watermelon.
Couple: A poor, earnest (?) true Taoist priest x a shrewd, capable fake immortal. A hilarious, ill-fated romance that begins with catching ghosts and exposing fakes.
[Reader's Guide]
1. The heroine is petite and delicate, but not someone you can push around.
2. A lively, not-at-all-scary paranormal story with a true female lead.
3. Sweet, satisfying, and swoon-worthy. Hehe.
4. The setting serves the plot, so please go easy on the nitpicking.
5. Some information about the monsters and spirits is made up, while some is drawn from Records of the Taiping Era, Imperial Readings of the Taiping Era, Classic of Mountains and Seas, Chinese Ancient Myths and Legends, Dictionary of Chinese Ancient Myths and Legends, What Confucius Would Not Discuss, and Records of Strange Things.
Recommended: My friend's completed modern romance, Chen Gui's "I Fell in Love with My Hater [Showbiz]"
Theme:
Can you still return to Xingda? Have you forgotten Xingda's team leader?
It's quite good-looking. It feels like an adventure novel. It's great, but there are a lot of typos, which affects reading.
Wow, I feel so sad when I touch the scar.
Wuwuwu. Although it is not perfect, although there are many regrets, this ending is very real... But I originally thought that Yu Kun would try another black trick on them.
Could it be that Le Junzhuo is the father of the hostess?
Woo hoo hoo, I'm a cultist
Wuwuwu Ganwenwuwuwu
This guy named Le can't be his father, right?
I was a little anxious to finish.
