Do Not Wash the Red

Come out and greet them, come out and greet them,

My heart is filled with sorrow, the plants and trees wither,

Leaning against the railing, I shed tears.

A golden breeze passes, and fallen leaves fill the courtyard.

I think of my beloved, who left,

And still has not returned to the city, wandering far away.
