Learn to sing, practice singing, and keep company with those songs. Are you tired of it? Are you hungry? Sing loudly, and I feel I'll get through the day better. Sing by day, sing at night. I don't really know what the song is saying, but I keep singing, just hoping you'll love me. - "Songstress," Anita Mui
"Do you know what I thought the first time I saw you?"
"Hmm?" Ruan Rou raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry, I forgot."
"Get lost."
A 1990s Hong Kong-style story, a mob boss's son x a songstress. The songstress isn't an ordinary girl, though: she's clever and knows how the world works, without becoming worldly herself. The style isn't especially Hong Kong, but the author is working hard to research and make the story feel authentic!
Updates whenever inspiration strikes, hehe.
And finally, please don't yell at me! I have a... fragile heart, TAT. But you're welcome to leave suggestions! Criticism is fine too.
Very well written??? Do you like it?
The author is trying to imitate Hong Kong style, but I feel that the author is not a Cantonese speaker or does not live in a Cantonese-speaking area, because I feel that the Hong Kong flavor in the dialogue between the characters is a bit hard, and the narration is very clear... The Hong Kong flavor is reflected in the text, and most of the time it feels careless. I hope the author can work hard! I will definitely write better!
