Life Is Hard, the Apothecary Sighs

Changed the title. Going VIP on March 2. Please note: OOC warning, plot-hole warning, and original-setting warning. I'm working hard to improve based on suggestions. I'm such a lousy writer, I can't write even one ten-thousandth as well as the Medicine Seller, sob. Also known as: "The Utterly Ordinary Medicine Seller" "I'm Really Not Selling Fake Medicine" "Those Years Spent Exorcising Mononoke" "Did Akin Punch a Hole in the Sky Today?" "Did the Medicine Seller Crash and Burn Today?" It all started with an ordinary mononoke-exorcising mission. The Medicine Seller accidentally lost his Exorcism Sword. By the time he had gone to great lengths to find it, he was astonished to discover that the Exorcism Sword had taken human form... The Time Government: Quietly takes all the credit. After Akin took human form, the Medicine Seller found that everything went more smoothly. At the very least, he could talk things over with him and pull strings, or pick on ordinary yokai when he felt like it. It was much better than when Akin was so hard to deal with. But the Medicine Seller soon discovered a side effect of Akin taking human form: they were either changing maps, or on their way to change maps. Akin! You've punched a hole in the sky again! My Medicine Seller heartthrob, here I come! Akin is the Medicine Seller's Exorcism Sword. This subject feels pretty niche, and I've already prepared myself to flop all the way to the center of the earth. I'm mainly here to find fellow fans! I hope everyone leaves lots of comments!! Told in episodic form. [Coming Soon] "I Want to Quit the Time Government Today, Too" Yuzang, one of the Ten Great Swords of Huaxia and a blade famed for its courage, ran away from home, only to be coaxed and tricked by a group of unscrupulous tsukumogami into becoming a Saniwa. Overnight, he went from being self-employed to becoming a wage slave. On his first day at the Time Government, he slit the throat of a Saniwa. Then, reluctantly, he took over the Saniwa's secondhand Honmaru. The Time Government is a garbage employer that comes up with every trick to squeeze labor out of its staff. To escape the crushing workload, Yuzang, a free spirit who loves nothing more than being free, dashes all over the world and somehow develops a whole host of side hustles. Young man, you little killer, are you holding the appointment letter for a Port Mafia executive on the left, the report confirming your appointment as the Saniwa of a secondhand, unscrupulous Honmaru on the right, or the standing invitation to join the Demon Slayer Corps in the middle? Yuzang considers the many choices before him for a long time. Only children have to choose. Adults, of course, take them all! I'm drafting a new story! Add it to your favorites before you go!
