An Author Who Doesn't Want to Be in a Girl Group Isn't a Lucky Koi

After two consecutive entertainment-industry novels became huge hits and earned her a place among the site's rising stars, Ning Feiyang has recently been feeling troubled. She's about to graduate, but still hasn't found a job. Her best friend, a fortune-teller, read her fortune and said, "You're going to make it big this year!" Ning Feiyang figured this probably meant she could sell the rights to her work for a good price, so she calmly began preparing to work as a full-time writer. But the day after she received her diploma, her editor called. "Feiyang, the site has an event that needs authors to take part. We think you'd be a good fit. Want to give it a try?" Ning Feiyang agreed without giving it much thought. And then... Mentor: "Why do you want to join a girl group?" Ning Feiyang: "...Because it's my dream." Mentor: "What's your motivation?" Ning Feiyang: "To get a good ranking, then go back and kill my editor." Mentor: "Huh?" Ning Feiyang: "To get a good ranking, then go back and repay my editor." [Before You Read] 1.
