After Retiring, I Found My Childhood Nemesis

Feng Ling hated one thing more than anything: having a lifelong rival. They came from different sects, but his rival was just as gifted and naturally talented as he was, and trained so diligently it was downright monstrous. Feng Ling, the model disciple of his sect, had no choice but to push himself just as hard, until the two of them became the cultivation world's most notorious odd couple. Their reputations were neck and neck, and they even ascended through tribulation on the very same day. After five hundred years of trying to outdo each other, they finally retired together. At last, he could escape that annoying pest. On his first day of retirement, Feng Ling set off with a little bundle, heading for a feng shui paradise he'd picked out in advance, ready to enjoy a peaceful life in seclusion. Halfway there, he tripped over a strange creature that had appeared out of nowhere. He dusted himself off, got back up, and stared wide-eyed at a miniature version of his rival, shrunk down to the size of a little child. The little version of his rival looked at him and stammered, "M-Master." Feng Ling: "..." What in the world is this? ** After the two big shots retired one after the other, strange gossip began making the rounds in the sect's newsletter. Apparently, the two who never crossed paths were only pretending to dislike each other. In private, they'd done all sorts of things... They'd even used a spiritual embryo to create a child! Feng Ling: "..." Unsubscribe, thanks. Theme: Follow your heart
