I'm taking Thursday, December 20 off. I'll make it up with two updates on Friday! This story will go premium on December 1, this Saturday. Please support the official release, dear readers! Updates begin promptly on November 13 Aloof, reclusive genius director x international movie star, formerly a top idol 1. Genius director Guan Qingya, preparing to attend a film festival, gets a phone call: her husband has been hit on the head while filming and is unconscious in the hospital. When Guan Qingya rushes back home and takes their son to visit her husband, who has already woken up, he looks at her with delighted shyness and says, "Director Guan, did you come all this way just to visit me?" Guan Qingya: Hm? 2. After waking up, top idol Xue Zhaoxuan hears from his manager that he's won Best Actor at an international film festival and is now a bona fide international movie star. Before he can figure out what's going on, the woman he idolizes rushes into the ward with a three-year-old child, looking anxiously at him. Just as he's about to feel sad that his unrequited love has come to nothing, the child throws himself onto his stomach and calls him Daddy. Xue Zhaoxuan: Happiness came out of nowhere! Notes: 1. Updates promptly at 10 p.m. 2. Sweet from beginning to end, no angst. 3. The woman dotes on the man. 4. Amnesia trope with lots of melodrama. Read with caution.
