After lying low for nearly a year, faded star Chi Qingran shot back to fame with a hit adaptation of a popular IP. Then a photo of her with a mysterious man was exposed, sparking rumors of a romance.
A few days later, Chi Qingran was invited to record a show. Backstage, she took a phone call without realizing her mic was still on.
"Sweetheart, do you miss me?"
The man's deep, magnetic voice echoed through the entire studio, sending the audience into a frenzy.
--
At an awards ceremony, Chi Qingran stood beneath the spotlight, holding her trophy with poise and smiling brightly. "I want to give special thanks to my manager, and to the love of my life, Mr. Shang."

A preview of my upcoming story, Spring Days in Full Bloom
Lu Zhaozhao and Chen Yubai met again after a long separation at a hospital.
At the time, she was sitting in the emergency room, clutching her bleeding wound.
Chen Yubai, wearing a white coat, hurried past her. His face was hidden behind a blue mask, leaving only a pair of cool, deep-set eyes visible.
He didn't see her.
And she didn't call out to him.
Not long afterward, Lu Zhaozhao pulled herself to her feet and left.
Unbeknownst to her, the instant she turned away,
the man lifted his eyes across the crowded room and watched her limp away. The depths of his gaze held the faintest flicker of emotion.
A nurse asked curiously, "Dr. Chen, what are you looking at?"
"Nothing," Chen Yubai replied coolly. "Just an ex-girlfriend who used me and walked away."
When they met again, she was at a blind date in a cafe, listening to her date spout one ridiculous boast after another.
Chen Yubai sat alone by the window, waiting for someone, his long fingers stirring his coffee.
A little while later, a beautifully made-up young woman arrived as promised. She linked arms with him, her pretty face alight with a bright smile as she naturally cooed at him.
Chen Yubai's brow furrowed slightly, as if impatient, but his posture was relaxed. He curled his lips into a lazy smile, with the faintest hint of indulgence.
Lu Zhaozhao lowered her lashes, picked up her black coffee, and took a sip. Its bitterness was hard to swallow.
Lu Zhaozhao had been with Chen Yubai for four years. She had touched every bone in his body and seen every expression he made, whether restrained or self-controlled. He had spoiled her without limits.
Only on the day they broke up did the usually aloof young man stare at her with bloodshot eyes, gripping her wrist so tightly it felt as if he would crush her.
His voice hoarse, his brows shadowed by a fierce fury, he said, "Lu Zhaozhao, don't let me see you again."
She thought there would be no future for them.
That if they met again, they would be strangers.
But one night, beneath the heavy dew,
the man came through wind and rain, his presence bone-chillingly cold.
"Lu Zhaozhao, I told you not to let me see you again. Otherwise..."
"I will never let you go."
The day they left the marriage registration office, Lu Zhaozhao held her marriage certificate, dazed.
Chen Yubai merely glanced at her coolly. "You owe me this, Lu Zhaozhao."

Winter's Fable
When Cheng Mi was nineteen and had nowhere left to turn, she met Shen Yanbai.
Her agent pushed her to her feet with a wineglass in hand. She trembled as she stood to offer a toast, but accidentally stained his pocket watch.
Flustered and helpless, she lowered her head to apologize and carefully wiped away the wine. In a quiet voice, she said, "Sir, I'll pay you back."
The table erupted with laughter. When she learned from the others that the watch was worth more than she could ever afford, she stood awkwardly amid the mockery, her cheeks flushed, her eyes lowered and misty with tears, anxious and at a loss.
The man's features were as calm as clouds over distant mountains, yet there was a hint of warmth in his deep-set eyes. He said, "All right."
That evening, after the banquet,
Cheng Mi received a special gift from Shen Yanbai's assistant.
Everyone in the industry knew who Cheng Mi's backer was.
Everyone also understood that in the world of fame and fortune, each side was getting something out of the arrangement.
So they were all certain Shen Yanbai was only looking for a bit of fun and something new.
Cheng Mi thought so too. She behaved herself and kept to her place.
When the time seemed right, she tactfully brought up the idea of breaking up.
That night, the man played with his pocket watch, his expression still warm and easygoing. He looked like a courteous gentleman as he laughed softly. "Mimi, haven't I treated you well enough?"
Cheng Mi shook her head. "Sir, you've been very good to me..."
"Then," Shen Yanbai said with an inscrutable smile, "are you trying to cross the river and abandon the bridge, Mimi?"
Cheng Mi denied it. "I just don't think I'm good enough for you. Our relationship isn't equal. I think you need a wife from a similar background, someone who can support you."
Shen Yanbai closed his pocket watch, his smile still inscrutable. "Mimi, has no one ever told you not to bargain with a businessman?"
"Besides," Shen Yanbai gazed at her with deep eyes, "how do you know you aren't the woman I want as Mrs. Shen?"
Note: The heroine has an ex; the hero does not.
This story contains mild elements of a forced relationship.
Both are devoted to each other.

Theme: Love is understanding and respect
As for Yang Xuehua's retribution, and as for the Lin family's parents' retribution, there is no such thing.
I want to see the back! The heroine is such a fucking disgusting person, but he still pays to murder the heroine. Is this hole going to be filled? ? ?
Are there any extras?
The ending is not good, I feel like a lot of things were not explained clearly!
So sweet w thank you for the limited fee!
