The Wrong Way to Ascend

*********************************************The great Wu Wang has a beloved white moonlight known to gods, humans, demons, and monsters alike. Sadly, that person's soul has long since dispersed.

The little immortal Qi Qing has one wish: to ascend as soon as possible and pluck her master's beard.

Following the advice of those who came before her, Qi Qing diligently absorbs the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and the essence of the sun and moon, hoping to ascend soon.

But the demons and monsters she meets along the way are exasperated with her. "Why absorb the essence of the sun and moon? There's a whole source of spiritual energy right beside you! Our top priority is to cling to the powerful and absorb their spiritual energy!"

Cling to the powerful? Qi Qing looks at Wu Wang beside her. "Great One, can I cling to you?"

Little Scene 1:

One day, the group went to Thousand Fox Cave, but Wu Wang disappeared.

Qi Qing later found Wu Wang inside the Nine-Tailed Fox's cave.

"You stinking fox, let go of my Lord Divine!"

"Your Lord Divine?"

"If he's not mine, does that mean he's yours?"

Wu Wang pushed away the several beautiful fox demons on either side of him and stepped closer. "Yours?"

"H-he's mine, so what?"

"Mm. He's yours."

Little Scene 2:

"Lord Divine, what do you think of the moon in the sky?"

"Beautiful!"

"Would you like it?"

"Can you pick it for me?"

"If you want it, I'll pick it for you."

"I do."

"..."

Qi Qing failed to show off, so she grabbed the bamboo spirit and beat him up.

"Weren't you supposed to refuse? Weren't you supposed to be happy? Weren't you supposed to give me spiritual energy?"
