Genius Kid, Taking Mom to the Top!

Inventive genius Shang Henian is transmigrated into the child in a villainous contrast-family role on a childcare variety show.

The other families are warm and loving, and even has-been stars manage to win fans and make a comeback.

But the contrast family gets savaged by viewers. The original child inherited only the movie star father's looks, not his lovable personality. He's rude, ill-mannered, prone to throwing tantrums and things, mistreats pets, hits other children, and acts out constantly.

Since his father, Shang Moran, is a prolific movie star with an impeccable reputation, everyone assumes the original child was taught to be awful by his terrible mother, Jiang Wanyue. The child is just copying her.

Everyone urges the movie star father to get a divorce!

Only Shang Henian, the one who transmigrated into the child's body, knows that everything the original child was criticized for was picked up from his father, bit by bit.

His father, Shang Moran, has also been secretly seeing another woman. To make her his wife, he is willing to smear his current wife and force her to file for divorce.

Jiang Wanyue can't take the abuse on trending topics or the pressure of being doxxed and harassed by the movie star's fans. Her parents have just died, her son is distant, her husband has let her down, and her mother-in-law despises her... In the end, she leaves with nothing and jumps into the river in despair.

Now Shang Henian has arrived.

During a live variety show, Shang Henian gets up, squeezes toothpaste onto a toothbrush, and places it in his mother's hand. With his chubby, adorable face and his young, bright voice, he says:

"Mom, I'm a grown-up boy now. It's okay if I don't have a dad. I'll be your dad."

Jiang Wanyue: ?

Viewers: What a good boy, taking care of his mom! He's so adorable, I can't take it anymore!!! Wait, what did our good boy just say?

Then Shang Henian's practical inventions and amazing new technologies begin to appear, one after another...

Viewers: They drop to their knees with a thud! A genius!!! Would you mind having one more mom or a male mom? I'll even call you Dad, I can do it!!

*No romance. The male lead is a little kid for most of the story!

Theme: Our beloved family gives us the strength to rise again and overcome anything.
