[Jin Guang] Scorching Shadow

Jiefengdi's top priority had been quelling the turmoil in Jiuluntian, but something went wrong. After regaining his memories, he suddenly found himself in the neighboring series, alongside Su Huan Zhen. Su Huan Zhen sighed and gazed upward at a 45-degree angle. Ending up in the wrong series wasn't important. What mattered was, why had even his identity changed? Why did he have to be someone's son? And a monk, at that!

Fake Qiao Rulai, real Su Huan Zhen: Why do I have to be someone's son?! I object! (flips table)

Shi Yanwen: Jingzhong, what happened? (gazing at him tenderly)

Fake Qiao Rulai, real Su Huan Zhen: I...

Lu Shimo Luo: Big brother, come with me to the Demon Realm! (reaching out)

Fake Qiao Rulai, real Su Huan Zhen: I'm not Qiao Rulai!

A passerby from another neighboring series: Hey, why haven't we seen Su Huan Zhen in so long?

Another passerby: Looks like you still haven't figured out the way things work around here. Let me explain... (whispers)

First passerby: So that's what happened! (suddenly understands) But why hasn't he shown up yet? (confused)

Some Author: Because he went to the wrong neighboring series. (floats past...)

Updates are irregular. There may be annual, weekly, monthly, or daily updates, but I will never abandon this story!!

P.S. Most of the plot is purely the author's imagination. If fellow Daoists feel the story is unrealistic or conflicts with the Pili or Jin Guang series, please forgive the author's bizarre imagination!

Another world of half-canon, half-original storylines and tropes.
