She resigns herself to befriending the heroine, but they're natural enemies, and everything she does only makes the heroine hate her more. Fine, fine. She'll just live an ordinary life as a mortal. At least then she won't meet the tragic end of jumping off a cliff.
Just as she's about to run away, her childhood friend, the villain and final boss, grabs her by the nape of her neck and smiles, giving her goosebumps all over. "Yanyan, where do you think you're running off to?"
