The first time Ren Dan saw Dong Luanlin, he inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity and closeness. But she didn't seem very interested in him. That only made him more curious about her. He always felt there was something about her he was searching for, something he could see through her. It wasn't until he appeared that he finally understood what he had been searching for: the heart-fluttering feeling when their eyes met, and the warmth he felt when he was at his weakest and most helpless.
The premise is super original! I was joking with someone about the two great Mary Sue archetypes, the school heartthrob and the CEO, and then thought, why not put them together?
