Long ago, the High God Lushu of Fuxi Continent gave his Eyes of the Sun and Moon to a little tree demon on Mount Niuyang, helping him cultivate immortality.
For tens of millions of years afterward, High God Lushu never saw him again. Once each year, on the night of the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, they could only gaze at each other from afar.
Then, on the full-moon night of that year, High God Lushu changed his mind, and... they got together.
1v1, happy ending, no angst.
The Classic of Mountains and Seas says: "On Mount Niuyang there is a beast. It looks like a horse with a white head, has markings like a tiger and a red tail, and makes a sound like a song. It is called Lushu."
Author: "This story is entirely fictional, though it borrows the names of all sorts of ghosts and gods. I hope they won't take offense. Please don't be angry."
