In the west lies the famous Qingqiu. The Empress of Qingqiu had a son named Hu Qinglan, the future king of Qingqiu. Later, when the timeline became disrupted, he was swept into another world and became the renowned Kunlun, where he met the leader of the underworld, the Black-Robed Envoy.

After the great war ten thousand years ago, he vanished from the world. Ten thousand years later, the Black-Robed Envoy waited, true to his promise, for the day he and Kunlun would meet again.

In Dragon City, ten thousand years later, the Black-Robed Envoy reunited with the dear friend he had missed for so long.

The two joined forces to solve one case after another, and their feelings for each other gradually deepened.

Note: The Weilan pairing stays together. Hu Qinglan's soul travels into Kunlun, who is also Zhao Yunlan ten thousand years later.
