(I'm currently filling in the plot of my ongoing romance novel, Washed-Up Idol, Big Hit on the Parenting Show. Please add it to your reading list! Check out my profile!)
Couple: A genius summoner with maxed-out combat ability as the top, versus a useless summoned beast (dragon) with not a shred of talent in combat as the bottom.
*
In myth and legend, Pulao, the fourth son of the Dragon King, was a precious little lazybones. Though he refused to hatch for a thousand years after being born, the dragons still doted on him and raised him as their darling.
One day, the lazy little dragon, curled up inside his egg, discovered that he had left the golden nest where he had grown up, and that a great big villain was now threatening to eat him.
Pulao pretended not to panic as he hugged his little tail inside the shell, tears welling in his eyes. "I'm doomed QwQ"
Jing Yu awakened his summoning ability when he was five, but his summoned beast was quite unusual: a golden egg only as big as his palm. Its shell was covered in shimmering patterns, and powerful energy pulsed within.
Little Jing Yu carefully tucked the egg into his arms and looked after it, patiently waiting for the mysterious creature inside to hatch.
But one day, then two... More than ten years passed, and the egg was still fast asleep.
One day, Jing Yu, now a grown teenager, took out his copy of A Hundred Ways to Eat an Egg and dug out the golden egg that still had not hatched.
He casually brushed the dust off its shell, gripped it, and tapped it against the corner of the table a few times. His voice was icy. "Are you coming out on your own, or do I have to help you?"
Pulao couldn't pretend to be dead any longer. He hurriedly used his dragon horns to crack a thin sliver in the shell.
Watching a tiny golden dragon struggle out through the narrow crack, not even as big as his palm and small enough to squash with one finger, Jing Yu's temple twitched.
*
The summoned beast of the genius summoner Jing Yu had finally hatched. Everyone wondered what kind of mighty beast it would be.
They watched Jing Yu step onto the trial platform with a tiny golden dragon looped around his wrist. Its tail was stiff with nerves. Only after Jing Yu pinched the back of its neck did it reluctantly open its toothless mouth and roar:
Raaawr!
Not even a spark came out.
"..."
Is this thing here to make us laugh? You're cute, sure, but you can't win like this!
Everyone thought the genius summoner's first battle was about to end in disaster, but the several-meter-tall beast on the other side suddenly yawned and fell asleep.
The little golden dragon wins.
"…"
#Can you really win by being cute?!#
Fine, you win.

Reader's notes:
1. This is just a cute little pet story. The author's abilities are limited, and I can't write exciting, epic battles, so please read according to your tastes~
2. The baby dragon is the author's darling, and it has a huge golden finger!
3. It has wings, but it's an Eastern dragon~
4. There are lots of original details, and this doesn't strictly follow the myths.
Please add my completed novel in the same series, The Emperor's Chosen Little Mermaid.
(A dragon-fish bottom who's a sucker for handsome faces x a top allergic to mermaids) (Also known as Mistaken for a Mermaid, I Became Everyone's Darling and I Have a Fish Tail, But I'm a Dragon)

Chiwen, one of the nine sons of the Dragon King, is half dragon and half fish. When he takes human form, he has a beautiful deep-blue fish tail.
He grew up in the underwater Dragon Palace and had always longed to see the world beyond it.
But after sneaking out of the palace, he never expected to land in a galactic empire, where he became the only natural mermaid in the world.
With his precious bloodline, beautiful appearance, and friendly personality, he quickly became everyone's darling.
He got to enjoy the best food and live in the biggest, most luxurious quarters, and he could even choose the most powerful person in the world as his partner.
At first, Chiwen wanted to refuse.
After all, how embarrassing for a dragon to live as a fish or something.
But then he saw the emperor's handsome face...
Ahem... Maybe being a fish now and then isn't so bad.
*
Wen Su is the most talented emperor in the history of the empire. He also suffers from the most difficult-to-suppress mental storms, yet even after three years on the throne, he has not chosen a partner who can soothe them.
His explanation is that he is waiting for a partner with a one-hundred-percent match to appear.
The people of the empire waited anxiously and at last the "natural mermaid" chosen by fate arrived, sending the whole country into celebration.
But Wen Su could not feel happy, because he had a secret condition: he was allergic to mermaids.
To calm the people, Wen Su had planned to marry the fish and keep him as a mascot for the royal family. But after making contact, he unexpectedly discovered that he wasn't allergic to this fish who had appeared out of nowhere.
In an instant, the way Wen Su looked at his little mermaid bride changed.
Is he really a fish?!

The union of the emperor and the natural mermaid was once called the most enchanting royal fairy tale in a hundred centuries by Blue Star media.
Yet even amid all the well-wishes, there were always a few dissenting voices:
"I heard the emperor doesn't even like mermaids. Their marriage is nothing but coercion based on their compatibility!"
"The natural mermaid isn't loved by His Majesty, and spends every day depressed."
"What royal fairy tale? This is the biggest lie the royal family has ever told!"
These claims even affected the judgment of the people of Blue Star for a time, leading them to believe that the emperor and the natural mermaid were not happy together.
Then one day, footage recorded before a royal livestream was accidentally leaked. In it...
The empire's darling sat in the emperor's arms, eyes red, and whined, "My tail hurts..."
And the emperor, usually stern and cold, gently soothed him with a helpless smile. "How about I rub it for you?"

Please add my upcoming novel, I'm Really a Mushroom [Infinite], to your reading list!
An Lan is a blue-capped, white-stemmed poisonous mushroom, but compared to other mushrooms of his kind, his poison isn't all that strong.
After turning human, his favorite thing to do is crouch in a corner without an umbrella on rainy days.
Someone asked him why he did that.
He honestly answered, "Because I'm a mushroom."
In the end, the humans here diagnosed him with schizophrenia and sent him to a psychiatric hospital.
An Lan felt a little wronged. There was nothing wrong with him.
But the hospital was a place sunlight couldn't reach, perfect for growing mushrooms, so he moved in.
P.S. There will be a couple. More details later. It should be a nontraditional Infinite Flow story.
(The bottom's species is called the blue-capped Leratiomyces, a very cute, round little mushroom.)
Theme: True strength doesn't come from external things, but from inner resilience.
I thought Longlong would lose his horse and get rid of the mutated beasts, but he didn't
