A Clever Rescue of My Cousin

A lighthearted, funny short story. Some parts are purely for laughs and shouldn't be taken seriously. Also includes a scene where Ye Zhao's cousin gets married (#^.^#).

The story begins like this:

One day, Ye Zhao suddenly woke up and realized that the person she deeply loved was her cousin, not Zhao Yujin. She regretted missing her chance with her cousin, regretted listening to Zhao Yujin and sending her away, and regretted not rescuing her cousin sooner.

"A Zhao, will you marry me in this life?"

"I will!"

"Without him."

"Without him!"

"Really?"

"Really, I promise! I've already sent him off to be the King of Western Xia's princess consort." (Ye Zhao had wanted to kick Zhao Yujin to the curb for ages, but had never found an excuse.)
