I Married Into Your Family Shrine

This is a pseudo-Republican-era story. My history is poor, so I won't do the real Republican era any harm. This is all pure fantasy. The countries and places mentioned are fictional, so don't read too much into them. The Republican era is only a point of reference.

Fu Xiujin, the fourth young master of the Fu family, is secretary to Chen Guangliang, a military commander of the Fengyuan Party, and wields considerable power.

But the Fengyuan Party is closely associated with the Wujia bandits, and has no popular support.

As a result, Fu Xiujin has been branded a traitor for five years.

Qi Shan is a medic with the Chunmin Party, and driving out the Wujia bandits is her lifelong ambition.

Fu Xiujin of the Fengyuan Party marries Qi Shan of the Chunmin Party, but that isn't really where the story begins.

A little scene

Qi Shan: "Xiujin, I never bore the Fu family a child. I'm afraid I won't be allowed into the Fu family ancestral hall."

Fu Xiujin nods. "The Qi family ancestral hall has no such rule. I'll just join the Qi family."
