The Promise of Your Face

A domineering CEO falls for an ugly but self-reliant Cinderella and decisively breaks off his engagement to a rich, beautiful woman.

But after winning Cinderella's heart, the CEO discovers that she is actually the very rich beauty who was disfigured, lost her memory, and disappeared for years.

The female lead is the domineering CEO; the male lead is the self-reliant rich beauty.

Judging by the premise, this should probably be tagged as female-dominant, but the female lead says she has to act like a gentle, virtuous lady in front of outsiders, so... let's pretend this is a romance.

The female lead appears to be a gentle, approachable, and understanding lady, but inside she's a domineering CEO, a flirtatious top.

The male lead appears to be a cold, powerful, insecure, and twisted killer-lord, but inside he's a delicate and bashful girl, a bottom.

Don't ask why Jun Qing is the top in front of A Xuan, but the bottom when he's with Yan Suling. I have no idea either.

Warnings:

1. An alternate world. Men generally handle the outside while women manage the household, but gender segregation isn't strict. Men and women can go on outings together, pursue each other openly, and date. The rule is to let feelings arise but stop before crossing the line [most people don't even make it to first base]. The female lead crosses the line a little [she makes it to second base], but the person she's with is the male lead, so it doesn't matter. And it fully complies with Jinjiang's rules: absolutely nothing below the neck.

2. The male lead is a cross-dressing guy. He isn't into it himself, but he can't stop me from finding all sorts of ways to make him wear women's clothes.

3. The male lead is disfigured, but neither he nor I want that, so I'll make him beautiful again.
