Jianzhi Must Live

Jianzhi is an ordinary girl who drifts through life in a daze. One inexplicable morning, she wakes up to find herself lying in a gloomy, densely wooded forest.

All right, the sky is blue, the trees are green, and the birdsong is lovely. But why is her head resting on a furry bear paw? And why is the bear... looking down at her with such a mocking expression?

And also, why is there... a snake?

In the 12th year of Tianxuan, the state preceptor of the Frost Kingdom fell gravely ill.

At the end of her life, the last prophet of the Western Frost Dynasty said only this: “Two or three little girls, with ancient blue in their hearts, will bring ruin to the kingdom and misery to its people. They must not be allowed to live.”

Emperor Xuan grieved for her and buried her with the honors due a distinguished statesman. The entire kingdom observed a three-day curfew.

In the 27th year of Tianxuan, the martial world was in turmoil. People everywhere sang a folk song:

In the north there lives a beauty,

With a bear at her side.

A beauty like her is hard to find,

And the bear is wicked besides.

It tells of a monster in the north: a breathtaking beauty and a bear of dreadful character who turn the entire Western Frost Dynasty upside down and leave it in chaos...

And so, the story slowly begins...
