How I long for someone like that,
flawless, belonging only to me.
But... how can I touch his warmth? How can I... hold on to this clue?
The gloom,
suspended between delusion and reality. How can I tell the difference?
What is that patch of gloom?
I want to touch it,
but all that rises in my heart is a pain like a knife twisting inside me.
So, in the nightmare, it disappears completely.
I suppose I was hoping for it.
Hoping to be redeemed, hoping to be saved, hoping to be cared for, hoping to be loved...
And so, hope took the place of longing.
P.S.:
1. My writing is clumsy, so I can only make up for it with storytelling.
2. 1Vn, a modern (very unmodern) story pieced together from several storylines.
3. The narrative is unconventional, with long romance passages woven throughout.
4. The ending might... maybe... probably... be a happy ending.
5. The author takes a laid-back approach.
