Concept Overview

Character Introductions

Wei Yu: The male lead. He specializes in criminal litigation and also works as a mixed-practice attorney handling civil and commercial cases.

Lin Ye: The female lead. A first-year master's student in law at P University.

Zhao Jinqiao: The second male lead. A Harvard graduate who specializes in civil, commercial, and financial law.

Gao Wu: The second female lead. A prosecutor at the P City Procuratorate.

Gao Mingshan: Gao Wu's father, an adviser to the Jiashi Group and a well-known lawyer.

Wang Cheng: Zhao Jinqiao's uncle, vice chairman and executive director of the Jiashi Group.

Wang Qi: Wang Cheng's younger sister and Zhao Jinqiao's mother.

Wei Lin: Wei Yu's aunt, a director of the Jiashi Group and chairwoman of Huabei Real Estate.

Lin Changqing: Lin Ye's father, a vegetative patient who has been in a coma for a long time. He holds the key witness to the Shengyu case.

Wei Tao: Wei Yu's father, deceased.

Fang Qing: Wei Yu's mother, missing.
