The year is 2015, the final era in which magic still exists.
The Human Order Continuity Assurance Organization, Chaldea, is a special agency established to prevent humanity's extinction. It observes a world whose full scope cannot be glimpsed through magic alone, nor measured by science alone.
Chaldea's continued observations revealed that the future realm had suddenly vanished without warning, proving that humanity would perish in 2017.
To change this future, a young woman named Ritsuka Fujiwara began her journey.
"Didn't you say the world wouldn't end until 2017?! It's only 2016, buddy!!"
"I'm sorry, Doctor! The weather's been awful lately, and the wind carried the flames that burn away human history way too fast. I really couldn't control them!!"
"Good grief! If there's a storm next, then... Damn it, who dropped the heart we worked so hard to get on the floor? Does that mean the world doesn't need you to save it anymore?!"
The young man shouted as he scooped up the heart from the floor:
"Anyway, isn't this book's protagonist supposed to be me?!"
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
An excessively wordy guide for readers:
1. I named it this because the protagonist's ability is based on Persona 3. He summons demons by shooting himself. He can summon any demon recorded in a book, but only one can exist at a time, and each demon has different abilities. The highest-ranking demons in every class are ridiculously powerful. The highest-ranking Judgment demon can push the moon back into place. (It's just the moon, right?! I'll push it back with one finger as Messiah!) (The Moon People are dead for real.)
2. Although his ability looks totally overpowered, demons cost money. Each one costs hundreds of thousands.
3. The planned CP is the Little Sun. The real sun grills meat with its eyes (.)
4. Although I say that, the author still can't stop thinking about the pink-haired doctor and Aizawa Shota. Besides, what's romance compared to saving the world?
5. Although FGO seems to take up a lot of the story, the protagonist can't summon Heroic Spirits. (The Little Sun is a cheat, the kind of cheat a person can only pull off once in their life.) Also, the main story doesn't take place in the FGO world (probably).
6. This is important: the protagonist is incredibly handsome. Although this isn't a story about a 16-year-old high school student saving the world (damn it, sixteen-year-olds can't drive. We want a grown-up romance, okay?), I've given him tons of cool traits. I'm sure you'll love him.
7. "I never wanted to be a hero."
