Never Forgive, Never Forget

After Su Xiaoxiao picked up a filthy little black dog, she ignored its desperate struggles and turned it over to give it a thorough bath. While she was at it, she glanced beneath the dog's belly as it lay there with all four paws spread out and its head tilted back in surrender.

Male.

One day later, Su Xiaoxiao stood before a handsome man who was grinning with ill intent. Her eyes brimmed with tears, and she looked utterly terrified as she said, "Y-you can't treat me like this!"

She held both hands in front of herself, afraid the man might do what he had just said.

The handsome man chuckled softly and easily cornered Su Xiaoxiao against the wall. As she continued to struggle, he lowered his head and kissed her until she was dizzy and reeling, her eyes full of disbelief.

How could he bear to hurt her?

A grudge must be repaid.

Debts of vengeance must be settled, and debts of gratitude... even more so.
