Do you believe in hope?
If there is hope in this world, why has it left her in such despair?
But if she doesn't believe in it, what can she believe in?
She witnessed the destruction of her own life, and even the collapse of the human world.
She has lost everything. All she has left is a promise that will last only one week.
So she begins to search. But she forgets another promise someone made to her.
This world is becoming more than just a place for humans. Are humans struggling against an invading race, the Mei Gui, or rebelling against the gods? There is the war between humans and the Mei Gui, and there is the war humans wage against themselves.
She doesn't want to submit to fate. She wants to fight back. But in the end, she has far too high an opinion of herself. She can do nothing, yet still arrogantly thinks that if only she could help everyone see hope, that would be enough.
"If one day you forget me, I'll still make your wish come true."
"I don't even know what my wish is."
"That's all right. I can help you find it. But in return, you have to promise me one thing."
"Never hate me. Never leave me."
I like DaDa's books. Can I be friends with DaDa?
