Dear Researcher

Blunt, rugged, loyal attack (19) x insecure yet arrogant, brooding genius bottom (24). Younger man/older man. Both have flaws, and both are powerful in their respective fields.

The setting is entirely my own: a touch of post-apocalyptic wasteland, with futuristic technology and psychic powers. The rule of law is weak. Please don't compare it to reality.

This will probably be a wish-fulfillment story.

Yao Gelan grew up in an underground town where the sun never shone. He knew nothing about the cities on the surface.

Then his parents died in an early monster surge, leaving him and his younger sister to rely on each other.

Following his mother's dying wish, he left their ruined hometown and went to Glorious City to receive a higher education.

But his sorrow didn't last long before he met Mei Song.

Mei Song had completed his graduate studies at twenty-two, joined White Crane Tower, and risen to senior researcher within two years. A genius, he was also secretly the notorious Class Special Threat criminal known as the Puppeteer.

Then Yao Gelan, that little brat, came along and landed him in a huge mess.

There weren't many people who could get the better of Mei Song.

Mei Song swore he would hunt Yao Gelan to the ends of the earth, kill him, and keep him as a specimen.

Later, after they cleared up the misunderstanding, that oath somehow went to the dogs.

The little brat teased him for falling in love with his "enemy."

"A researcher who always keeps his word has a time when he can't keep it?"

Mei Song glanced at Yao Gelan and said gloomily, "Maybe I have a thing for my first dog."

Yao Gelan: "What the hell? I'll bite you!"
