A Tender Kiss on the Rose

My next book is coming soon. Please add it to your to-read list! (≧▽≦)

At a small, privately hosted motorcycle meet, someone casually mentioned that the name Song Yanheng had once been an undefeated legend on Haicheng's underground racing circuit.

There weren't many old friends present, and everyone remembered Song Yanheng as someone who always kept himself disciplined and restrained so he could stay in peak condition to fly fighter jets. No one had expected someone like him to have raced on the rough-and-tumble underground circuit.

The crowd immediately started egging Song Yanheng on to do a few laps.

Without even looking up, Song Yanheng wearily exhaled a smoke ring. "I quit a long time ago."

Zhou Shiyan was warming up her bike. At that, she smiled. "Whoever beats me today, I'll date."

When the race ended, Song Yanheng took first place, just as expected.

As soon as Zhou Shiyan brought her bike to a stop, Song Yanheng was quick to trap her between himself and the motorcycle.

His dark eyes were so deep they seemed ready to engulf her. He stared until Zhou Shiyan felt guilty, then pressed his lips, cold with warning, to her ear.

"Don't let me hear you make that kind of bet again."

- You're a rose with thorns, but I still want to brave every obstacle and kiss you with all my heart.

(I originally planned to write an entertainment-industry novel, but I probably won't be writing it after all. I'm replacing it with this one. Sorry!)
