The Taoist Temple Is Under Construction

[Updates resume next year]

Fortune-telling by characters / Taoist rituals / blessings and exorcisms / feng shui and divination. For all your needs, look for Daoist Priest Shen of Xuanyang Temple. Daoist Priest Li is fine too.

There is a temple on Siqing Mountain, and inside it lives a little Daoist priest who neglects his duties. The young priest is called Li Guozhi, a Taoist youth who catches ghosts when the mood strikes and often grows vegetables.

One night, just as the young priest was about to go to bed, his own ancestral master played matchmaker and sent him a fellow Daoist.

From then on, the shabby little temple became a breakout sensation, and he also discovered that his fellow Daoist had a rather intriguing identity.

Our goals:

Take pride in catching ghosts and fighting monsters; be ashamed of running away halfway through.

Take pride in building up the temple; be ashamed of hurting others and yourself.

Take pride in abducting Li Guozhi... No, that's wrong! Let's start over!

Young priest: Cat! I keep feeling like my fellow Daoist is so capable there's nothing left for me to do.

Fellow Daoist: (stares at the young priest without saying a word)

[Updates every other day or every three days. This isn't a typical leveling story, and there may not be much interaction between the leads early on.]
