Plot synopsis:
At 25, Su Weian learns through genetic testing that she has Huntington's disease. At 35, her movements will become uncontrollable; at 40, she will lose her mind. A genetic test report puts an end to all her hopes for the future.
A casualty selected for elimination by Darwin's theory of natural selection, she has run away, despaired, and fallen apart. She drops out of school and travels the world, thinking she can find life's meaning that way. Instead, while serving with a medical team in Africa, she meets Doctor Gu, a man with a clear-eyed grasp of reality. After many twists and turns, she returns with him to the two-meter lab bench at the hospital, where they research treatments for Huntington's disease.
She says, "If fate wants to eliminate me, I'll fight it to the bitter end!"
She is the toughest carrier of a rare disease gene. With the little life she has left, she wants to take on this incurable disease that so few people know about: Huntington's disease.
She is a warrior fighting a dragon, and also Yu Gong, the old man who moved mountains.
Perhaps she will fail, but she believes humanity will win one day.
Sons beget sons, and sons beget grandsons; generation after generation, the work will never end.
Every major medical breakthrough takes the tireless efforts of several, or even dozens of, generations to reach the light granted by heaven.
After watching the drama and reading the novel, I found that there are still some differences, so I will read the rest.
Very beautiful, the subject matter attracts me very much
Where can I look at the back?
