The Top Student Likes You

Blurb "Have you heard of the top student?" The boy had sharp, well-defined features, and a faint coolness lingered in his eyes. At the question, he glanced at the other person nonchalantly and replied in an indifferent tone, "He's nothing special." The girl across from him looked as if she'd been insulted. Her expression growing animated, she began singing the praises of the top student, Chi Li. She knew his past achievements by heart, almost better than Chi Li himself. The boy couldn't help thinking back to the few times they'd met. The first time, she got him bitten by mosquitoes for ages, then pitifully called him big brother. The second time, she praised his youthful good looks while mistaking him for an elder. In all their countless encounters after that, she kept praising the top student in front of him. Maybe next time, she'll call him her husband? The boy chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "What a coincidence. I'm Chi Li." * Chi Li had always been used to being alone and aloof, so his friends were amazed when a sweet little girl suddenly appeared by his side. Tired of their questions, Chi Li merely remarked in his usual cool tone, "She's lively." Everyone was stunned and assumed he didn't like the sweet little girl. But no one knew that the refined, aloof top student longed for nothing more than that little bit of liveliness. The sweet little girl's arrival went straight to the top student's heart. He had already fallen for her. Theme:
