Reverse the Script: She Won't Play the Villainess Role

Su Xiaoyi thought she had transmigrated into an old-school angst novel and landed the perfect gig: a high salary for slacking off while munching sunflower seeds and watching the angst unfold. After all, the heroine, Shen Qingwan, was supposed to suffer at the hands of the obsessive male lead, Lu Jueyan, for three hundred chapters. Su Xiaoyi only had to deliver meals on schedule, then collect her pay and coast to the happy ending. Who could have guessed the plot would go completely off the rails? The heroine, who was supposed to be a tearful, helpless little thing, suddenly started acting strange. She stopped crying by the window and instead fixed her gaze on Su Xiaoyi, a smile playing on her lips as she softly asked, "Have you... always been this beautiful?" Those words came out of nowhere, and Su Xiaoyi felt a chill creep over her. Before she could even figure out what this "beauty trap" was supposed to mean, the other woman used her to pull off a daring escape and vanished without a trace. Leaving Su Xiaoyi to face the furious male lead, Lu Jueyan, who had rushed over after hearing the news. There was no way she could explain herself. "Until Shen Qingwan comes back," Lu Jueyan bent down, his breath slicing past her ear like a blade, "you'll wear this chain in her place, one day at a time." Su Xiaoyi was close to tears. In her previous life, she was an overworked wage slave. In this one, she's a scapegoat and a walking target?! She regretted it now. She really, really regretted it. If she'd known this lousy job meant taking lashes for someone else and wearing an electric collar, she wouldn't have taken it for ten times the pay, let alone double! Premise: She takes over as a stand-in, earning a hundred thousand a day, but the collar is electric!
