Weary Dreams Return Home

An accidental explosion sent Gu Zhuo back six years.

At the time, the various immortal sects were caught in a rising tide of hidden turmoil, each struggling to save itself. The mortal realm was in upheaval, and even the Asura Realm, silent for a thousand years, seemed poised to stir.

With the idea that since he was here, he might as well get something out of it, Gu Zhuo joined the Mingyi sect, while planning to make a quick escape and look after himself if things went south.

But in the tangled web of human relationships and worldly affairs, could cause and effect ever go according to plan? Though Gu Zhuo kept reminding himself that this was all in the past, he still became entangled through one twist of fate after another. Only then did he discover that he had an inextricable connection to the destruction of Mount Mingyi.

Gu Zhuo rested his chin in his hand. "Master, why me? Why is it always me?"

Duan Fuying: "As the saying goes, born without form, moving without a name."

Gu Zhuo: "Put it in plain language!"

Duan Fuying: "Young man, if you're getting paid like the protagonist, don't complain about having too many scenes."
