While reading The King's Avatar, I kept wondering what would have happened if Ye Qiu had run away from home too. What if, through a strange twist of fate, he had joined The King's Avatar and become a pro player?
What if the pro scene had a mysterious gunslinger even more enigmatic than the God Ye Qiu, the God Ye Xiu?
And what if Ye Xiu found out that his younger brother Ye Qiu also loved Glory so much that he had successfully run away from home? That would be pretty interesting, wouldn't it?
My biggest regret while reading The King's Avatar was the moment Ye Xiu's name changed. I imagined countless times how shocked everyone would be when his identity as a rich second-generation heir was revealed. But I still underestimated Glory, and the gods who had been there all along in The King's Avatar.
I wanted to see a different Ye Qiu, so I started this story. Glory belongs to Butterfly Blue; any OOC is on me.
