[Thieving Life Fanfiction] Wind and Snow

Notes:

A fanfic of The Stolen Life, set after Chapter 131 of the original.

First of all, I highly recommend this book. It's a serious historical political drama. The author is a young woman with a deep grounding in history and culture. The worldbuilding has no plot holes, the writing flows smoothly, and the plot is tight. It's really excellent! Also, the dual male lead setup has me, a danmei writer, itching to write. I couldn't help imagining this Fengxue story. The original has this scene, but there's really no romance... heartbreaking.

To be honest, at first I wasn't so deeply invested in the two male leads. The foreshadowing in the earlier chapters is brilliant. The personality Prince Yu, Zhao Hongyu, shows in Chapter 128 didn't make me angry at all. If anything, I was impressed and relieved. The silly boy is so cute!

I haven't read the rest yet. I'll write more after I finish. It's a shame the author is so serious and the whole story is a straight-up historical drama. As someone shipping this couple, I want some sweet moments, so I have to write them myself... clutching my little blanket.
