Just a Florist, That's All

Blurb:

Young Master Illumi declares, "I'm going to 'date.'"

Everyone: "Young Master Illumi, dating takes two people, not one." (Everyone thinks: Dating by yourself is called unrequited love. And you've been single since birth for twenty-six years, sir.)

Illumi smiles. "Who said I'm alone? Of course there are two people."

Atop the volcano on Kukuroo Mountain, there are only the Zoldyck family and their servants. What fool would dare date Sir Illumi?!

The maids glance at one another and move in perfect unison.

They step back. Shake their heads. Refuse.

Who would dare bring this calamity upon themselves?

With no other choice, Gotoh steps forward and asks, "May I ask who the young master's date is?"

Before them stretches a lush green lawn. Illumi points. "There, see?"

There?!

A straw hat slowly rises. The person beneath it sits up and looks at everyone, confused by their horrified expressions.

Someone cries out, "Who are you?!"

The person answers, "Oh, I'm just a gardener for the Zoldyck family. That's all."

The author has something to say: It's too hot, so I'm writing something lighthearted for my own amusement!
