[Douluo Dalu] I'm Just a Support

The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect is one of the Heaven Dou Empire's main pillars. To secure the crown prince's position, the emperor summons Ning Yao, young sect master of the Glazed Tile Sect, to the palace to serve as the prince's study companion.

Crown Prince Xue Qinghe has an excellent reputation: gentle and kind. Yet Ning Yao accidentally discovers that although Xue Qinghe seems mild-mannered, he is dark-hearted inside. Through a carefully maintained facade and ruthless scheming, he has eliminated the princes who posed a threat, one by one, and only then climbed step by step to the position of crown prince.

Ning Yao has no desire to get caught up in the royal family's power struggles. He plans to shed his study-companion role as soon as possible and return to the Glazed Tile Sect to enjoy life as its carefree young sect master. But one day, he suddenly realizes that the crown prince, who used to be so dark-hearted, seems to have become a different person...

Ning Yao (staring): The Heaven Dou Imperial Family's Martial Soul is clearly the Emerald Swan. So what's that glowing halo over your head?

Someone in disguise: ...If I say it's a healing halo from a Soul Skill, will you believe me?

In a nutshell: The domineering study companion and the pretty crown prince.

Spoiler version:

As a god of time and space chosen by fate, Ning Yao cultivates through reincarnation, his divine consciousness weathering the endless passage of time as he seeks to comprehend the power of reincarnation. He does this for countless eons. Then, in one of his lives, a certain god guides him to Douluo Dalu, forcing him to reclaim his divine duties and return to the divine realm to save the day.

He never expected that a life he thought would be just another routine trial would lead him to an unexpected encounter with that battle-ready Angel Goddess...

#A cringey high school daydream, haha. I even wrote it out by hand back then.

#I'll start this one after I finish the Douluo II story.

#Xue Qinghe bashing, Heaven Dou Imperial Family bashing, and Qian Renxue gets a complete redemption arc. If that bothers you, don't read.

Theme: Love is a way to dispel hatred.
