When the Maple Leaves Swirl, Crimson in Their Prime

My name is Hong Ye. I'm an orphan, born in an age of war.

My mastery of Maple Style made me famous throughout the shinobi world. They called me the Crimson Maple Rain, and I was as renowned as the Yellow Flash.

The Third Hokage once said, "Wherever leaves dance, flames will burn. The firelight will illuminate the village, and new leaves will sprout once more."

So when the Third Shinobi World War began, I set out for the battlefield without hesitation, fighting until I died.

I never imagined that after my death, I would arrive in another world.

Here, there are no tailed beasts and no shinobi.

It is the Heian-kyo era, a world where humans and demons coexist.

I am Kijo Momiji, a clone of Momiji-gari.

I now live a life I never could have imagined before.
