I Moonlight as the Ruler of All Things

The summer Yan Ci turned eighteen, his father died.

Something bizarre happened at the funeral. He was pulled into a strange space and nearly forced to become a fox's groom.

Later, a pale, cold man appeared and helped him, but demanded that they sign a contract for lifelong service.

"The world is collapsing. A cataclysm is coming, and you will become the ruler who saves all things."

The man spouted lines straight out of a delusional teenager's fantasy, but at the same time produced a contract stamped with an official seal and a notarized will. "You're too weak right now. You need my meticulous protection and guidance. Your father has entrusted me with all his assets. From now on, I'm your new dad."

Yan Ci figured the world must be sick. The ruler of all things could apparently moonlight as a tutor. By day, he studied biochemistry, environmental science, materials science, and chemical engineering; by night, he learned to control and command all manner of spirits. He had to juggle both, and both were bottomless pits.

Even worse, he awakened the Ancestors' Anti-Overwork System. It contained his ancestors, a bunch of awful forebears who had spent thousands of years lying flat. Now they needed him to manage them and get them working, each one training their lifelong specialty to perfection. Supposedly, only then could the whole family work together to save the world and face the disaster.

Fire control, telekinesis, reading people's romantic fate... Why was someone's specialty eating dirt, passing the blame, or spinning a top?

And that uncle whose lifelong specialty is supposedly a must-have skill for life: are you serious?

At such a young age, Yan Ci was mentally and physically exhausted. He was done. Let it all be destroyed!

This story is mainly about a young man being trained by a fatherly wizard into the ultimate boss who saves the world. All-around top student and wild beast (bottom) X refined, easygoing king of dirty talk (top). One-on-one sweet romance, happy ending, episodic adventures, spiritual qi revival, and a touch of Chinese-style horror.
