Dad: “I’ll take apart the Golden Gate Bridge for you to play with.”

Godfather: “Watch me turn your dad into a little girl.”

Childhood friend: “Ugh, I don’t want to be the savior of the world.”

Roommate: “Sleepy. I snuck out to see the basilisk last night.”

Old friend: “As long as I don’t run into your dad, my dad and I are the cool kids.”

College classmate: “Hey, who took down the web I knitted on the Golden Gate Bridge?”

Boss at her internship: “I’ll help you beat up the guy who tried to ensnare you with that web.”

Reporter interviewing her dad: “It’s fine, don’t worry about your dad taking apart the Metropolis. I can carry it away if it comes to that.”

Running buddy: “I heard you picked up a guy with a metal arm?”

Online friend: “Surprised? Want to meet in person? I’m Iron Man.”

Older sister: “This is my boyfriend. He’s one and a half. Don’t tell Dad.”

Older brother: “My friend’s from Central City. He runs faster than I do.”

Nina: “...Cool kids, cool kids. They’re all way out of my league...” Actually, I have a golden finger too. I can’t boost myself to their level, but I can drag them down to mine!

The heroine really is an adorable little fairy, as befits someone with a Mary Sue setup. She has all the right features, but she’s no one’s dream girl. Her personality doesn’t match. She’s a somewhat spoiled, somewhat timid little cutie, and her golden finger is all about making people laugh and being adorable, kind of like a goofy version of Circe. It’ll appear later in the story. Her love interest is undecided.
