Glimpsing the Light of Day (Eunuch)

A novel about a male lead who's a real eunuch [the literary side of the jealous-rage genre] ↓

[Completed] The Sparrow Spirit: When they first met, he was already in his early thirties, fine lines appearing at the corners of his eyes. She was fourteen or fifteen, so full of life she almost seemed dazzling. He was powerful, though not yet all-powerful, and a corrupt eunuch whom the scholars cursed endlessly. She was the pampered youngest daughter of a respectable family. They could hardly have seemed less alike. But fate had other plans: he acquired a house near the Lin family home. From then on, Su Zhi flourished, and spring came to the paulownia trees.

Night-Illuminating White: The greatest blade wielder of this generation is a young woman: beautiful, skilled, and unfortunately sharp-tongued and flirtatious. When the capital holds a wine-tasting, her friends warn her again and again to behave herself. She manages to keep her head down for half a month, then opens her mouth and lands herself in deep trouble, offending the Eastern Depot's Lord Zhang and earning a place on his hit list.

Praying to Demons: A governor of the Eastern Depot, defeated in court and presumed dead, discovers that he is frail, weak, and penniless. He doesn't particularly want to live, but he doesn't particularly want to die either. Bored out of his mind, he follows an occult technique and feeds a demon with his blood. He never expected to raise one, but he ends up with a willful, unruly little girl. She drinks his blood every day and wants to eat him too... (A governor of the Eastern Depot trying to act like a parental guardian x a wicked, wanton little demon who wants to eat him in more ways than one.)

The Mirror Stand: A bandit seizes the throne, and the deposed emperor hangs himself on West Mountain. The new emperor can't be bothered to select loyal palace servants one by one, so anyone even slightly suspect is sent off to forced labor. But the treasury is empty, so he changes the rules: anyone who can find a guarantor may be bought out and taken home.

Shen Zheng is proud, upright, and renowned. He was lucky enough to survive the palace calamity, but there is no place for him in the palace now. His entire family is gone, and even if they were alive, they might not dare risk suspicion to save him. His life is wretched, yet he was born with a sickly body and a proud heart.

Breaking Through: Adoptive father x adopted daughter

[Updates pending]: Female warlord x eunuch performer; a Shanghai big shot who left the palace after betraying his master (a eunuch) x a young lady with Western sensibilities.

Upcoming work next door: This Is Just a Romance Card-Drawing Game!

Blurb: Want to draw some cards? You can do whatever you want to them, tear them apart any way you please. But remember, this is just a card-drawing game.

Card Character 1: The heroine's Omega fiance. A nobleman from a prestigious family, engaged to her for political reasons and a proper young gentleman. She thinks he's rational enough to handle her scandalous headlines, but by day he does crisis management, telling everyone that she and the people she's rumored to be dating are just friends. At night, he lies alone in bed, so jealous he can barely contain himself.

Card Character 2: A battle-scarred beta general. He's honorable and decorated, and the only immoral thing he's ever done is become the heroine's lover in all but name... In public, he seems no different from anyone else. But after the heroine removes the mechanical leg he depends on and stops his painkillers, he can only beg her in humiliation not to look at him. There will also be a prisoner-of-war scenario.

Card Character 3: The Omega older brother brought into the family by the heroine's stepmother. He looks like a gentleman, but he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. He was kidnapped as a child, and when he came back, his old home was gone. The heroine never showed him any kindness, but he knew whom he had to flatter. Unfortunately, he eventually fell for her in earnest. He secretly killed his Alpha husband, was brought home from the Allocation Center by the heroine, and now lives as a widower in her house, maliciously targeting her husband. Later, the two men join forces against the heroine's other lovers, with hair-pulling rivalry over her.

Card Character 4: A servant of the gods, sworn to remain pure for life. But love never follows reason, and he turns his back on his faith. There's a scene where, behind a giant statue of the gods, he embraces the heroine while worshippers pray all around them, not daring to make a sound.

Look forward to the rest of the card characters when the pool gets updated!
