Transmigrating to Become Empress Wang of the Ming Dynasty

During the Tumu Crisis, his brother's disastrous adventure cost the lives of 300,000 elite soldiers, left him captured by a foreign tribe, and brought the capital under siege. With the country facing life or death, Zhu Qizhen was entrusted with the throne in a moment of crisis and became the Jingtai Emperor.

Once the country was safe, his empress told him: "You should bring your brother back, return the throne to him, and make his son Crown Prince!"

After becoming emperor, he was supposed to hand the throne back and still expect to stay alive?! The Jingtai Emperor thought, What a troublesome empress. I must depose her!

Wang Yi: I'm not taking the blame for my predecessor. I can't handle this, Your Majesty. I want to transmigrate back home!

The Jingtai Emperor realizes, Huh, this empress is different from before. Deposing an empress is such a hassle. I'll wait and see.

In the end, the Jingtai Emperor says: "This is your home, though our home is a little big!"

PS: 1. Empress Wang was the empress of the Jingtai Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, not the empress of "Wang Wang."

2. Parallel universe. No nitpicking over historical details.

3. Plot-focused, with romance as a secondary element.

4. No angst.
