*This is a preview version, since the author got writer's block before even writing a few thousand words T▽T, but I'm posting a few chapters for everyone to check out first.
This is a story made up of several meetings and several partings.
The first time they met, Kirkland Langstrom was just an ordinary university student, while Eleanor was a stranger he'd exchanged a few words with.
The second time, Kirk, now a vampire, unconsciously drained Eleanor of her blood. When he saw the girl lying dead on the ground, he knew he had taken her life. It was a sin he could never atone for.
The third time, when Kirk was teetering on the edge of the abyss, Eleanor handed him a cup of hot cocoa and told him that, besides becoming a true monster, there was another way he could return to the light. She cast a ray of sunshine into his dark, frigid world. Then she died again.
The fourth time, Kirk sought out Eleanor, whose memories had been wiped clean, and they became good friends. When Kirk realized he loved her, she died, and he learned a secret about Eleanor that even she herself didn't know.
The fifth time, Kirk chose to watch over her quietly from the sidelines, but Eleanor still couldn't escape death.
The sixth time, when Eleanor was in danger, she met Batman. Perhaps this time they can have a real happy ending...

#Welcome to the Arctic Circle :)
Main pairing: Kirkland Langstrom (Batman from DC's Gods and Monsters) x Eleanor (original heroine). There are quite a lot of side pairings.
Original title: Formatting, because the heroine's memories are completely wiped clean every time she dies.
A DC comics crossover, expected to feature Aftershock, Deep Freeze (Dark Horse), Supurbia (BOOM!), Grimm Tales of Terror (Zenescope), Rising Stars (Image), Gods and Monsters (DC), as well as characters from the main DC universe and other worlds making cameo appearances.
↑ I'll explain the general background as I write. You can enjoy the story even if you haven't read the comics, so feel free to jump in.
