A Painted-Skin Spirit Meets a Ghost's Bane [Transmigration]

As an old-fashioned, clueless Painted Skin spirit who transmigrated here by accident, Xiao Nan thinks modern-day monsters have it so good. No monks or Taoist priests chase them around, and they can thrive in human society.

Unfortunately, he has no monster ID card, let alone a certificate allowing a good monster to live among humans... He's an illegal resident through and through.

Luckily, he's a talented painter, so at least he won't starve. Xiao Nan sells his paintings on the street while playing cat and mouse with the Monster Management Bureau, keeping himself quite busy.

Huh? That big shot at the Monster Management Bureau, the unsmiling man everyone dreads, is surrounded by an endless spiritual radiance? Xiao Yan, whose stomach is never full, drools without shame...

So what if he's an illegal resident? He can paint a hundred faces to win over that scary man!
