The 1990S' Irresistible Buckwheat Noodle Shop

The Shu Family Noodle Shop, a century-old establishment. A simple bowl of buckwheat noodles, yet it leaves diners savoring every bite. If you ask what the secret is, it all comes down to one recipe the family has never shared. But by the 1990s, it looked as if the century-old shop was about to close for good. None of the three Shu sisters wanted to take it over. The eldest is a powerhouse at work. Forget making noodles, she can't even wash dishes. The second is a top student. Her hands are for holding pens and working in the lab, and nothing else. The youngest is a cool, modern young woman, a bassist in a rock band. An artist making noodles? You have to be kidding! This left their father, Shu Daqing, in a terrible bind. "You three! If none of you wants to learn how to make noodles from me, then hurry up and find me a son-in-law who'll marry into the family!" From then on, the Shu family was plunged into one chaotic mess after another~ A food story about the three sisters' romantic lives and the little everyday troubles of the whole family. An old family recipe, family squabbles, and a journey to prosperity. XOXO.
