(Discarded Draft) The Chasm of Five Feet

The building where Cheng An lived stood just one and a half meters from the one next door. During the summer before her second year of high school, a new family moved into the building opposite. There was a girl in the family who played guitar. She wore a red cherry hair clip, and Cheng An's first love arrived unexpectedly. "If I were a bird soaring over the wilderness, your eyes would be my eternal sky." But the sky can collapse, and birds can die. This is a story about a first love that failed to save either person. A short story of thirty thousand characters. I'll finish it someday, who knows when. A short story, my first try at contemporary fiction, updated whenever inspiration strikes. Theme: Pay attention to the mental health of teenagers.
