A Surgeon in Republican-Era China

Taking November 30 off. Updating tomorrow.

Chen Shu, the top surgeon of 2018, steps out of the train station and discovers that he has arrived in 1914.

With nothing to his name and his phone and computer both dead, Chen Shu is dumbfounded.

His most urgent concern is figuring out how to eat and where to sleep.

The world is changing, warlords are fighting one another, and old China, plagued by every kind of illness, seems to be on the verge of awakening...

If you’re still enjoying this, my lovely readers, please add it to your favorites. I’m hoping to sign a contract soon...

P.S.:

1. This is an alternate-history Republic of China setting, not real historical fiction.

2. Revolutionary officer x surgeon. This isn’t a profession-focused novel, and I won’t go into the specifics of surgical procedures.

3. If you’re strict about historical accuracy, read with caution, especially regarding prices. Please don’t scrutinize them too closely, okay? I bow to you all. Readers who demand a perfect heroine should also read with caution. If you don’t like it, please click away instead of leaving comments to put me down. The author has been feeling rather depressed lately.

4. I can’t revise the whole story to fix every bug mentioned in the comments, but I’ve done what I can to address them. If that bothers you, please click away.

5. About the heroine being a little extravagant when she first arrives: that’s just her personality. She’ll change later on.

6. The ending is HE, though there are some twists and turns.

7. Thank you all for your comments.
