This Monk Is Shy

Tong Tong never imagined she would fall in love with a monk.

Want to know what it was like?

Back then, he was beautiful and well-behaved.

Tease him just a little, and the tips of his ears would turn bright red~

Tong Tong adored him just like that.

But what about later...? He changed completely~

Tong Tong looked up at the heavens, speechless. How did it come to this? Where was that beautiful, well-behaved, shy, angelic person?"

He answered seriously, "People grow into themselves."

The monk:

My heart was still as water, until you came and stirred up a thousand waves.

I was shy and quiet, but because of you, I began to discover a different side of myself.

Truthfully, I'm still that shy monk.

It's just that,

before I fell in love with you, I didn't understand love;

after I fell in love with you, I didn't know how to hide it.

In short: A young woman from the city comes to a little temple in the countryside for some reason. There, she spends a peaceful rural life planting crops, herding sheep, and feeding chickens with a handsome monk whose looks and personality are both off the charts. She starts by flirting, then gets flirted with, and eventually finds love. Together, they each discover their goals in life, reach the pinnacle of success, and live happily ever after.

A purely sweet story. A love that grows over time: I fall for you just as you happen to fall for me.

A gentle, steady romance that takes its time.

P.S. The male lead isn't a monk in the traditional sense.

Please read before diving in:

1. The early chapters have a rural setting: rustic, rustic, rustic!

2. The whole story is full of over-the-top sweetness and romance, and is pretty absurd.

3. I don't update daily. Come and get me!
