Xing Shanshan and Wu Tong
Wu Tong's "Small sacrifices can ruin the bigger plan" was something Wu Tong himself understood, and so did Yin Ke and Ban Xiaosong. Sha Wan and Li Zi knew it too, but Shanshan didn't. Later, when the two of them got together, Shanshan teased Wu Tong about that line for days.
"So you've liked me for that long, Mr. Wu?"
The young man barely held back a smile. The tips of his ears, flushed red, gave him away.
"That's right, Mrs. Wu."
Yin Ke and Sha Wan
The two top students were exactly the kind of kids other people's parents always talked about.
"I don't think this part is rigorous enough. We controlled the variables in the experiment, but there could be other issues causing the results to contradict the conclusion," Sha Wan said, her expression serious as she shared her opinion.
"Mrs. Yin, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. The experiment is fine. Your procedure must be the problem." Yin Ke's smile spread across his face.
"Then, Yin Ke, make me dinner!"
"As you wish, Mrs. Yin."
Ban Xiaosong and Li Zi
"."
"Li Zi! What's more important, me or your comics?" Ban Xiaosong complained like a kindergarten kid when Li Zi answered him with just one word.
"Ban Xiaosong, you're the most important." Li Zi looked him straight in the eye, her expression serious and sincere.
